Poggio dell´Oca sits on Sutri´s southern city wall and has magnificent views over the green valley below, the surrounding hills and historic buildings of the town. It is thought to date back at least 700 years and, as with many medieval houses, it went through many stages of development with different parts being added on and divided off over time. The result is a rather quirky, but utterly unique and charming houses.
We have put a lot of thought and hours into the renovation of the houses.
On the house n.1 (Lyndsay) we have chosen to combine some of its original features with more modern materials such as iron, wood and glass. In the House n. 2 (Flowers) we have chosen to combine ancient and original wood-roofs with more traditional furnishings.
The result is a light, airy, multi-level houses with many different corners where you relax with a book, cook and serve dinner for friends, take in some sun (Lyndsay)or simply admire the views.
